Hi, As veracity doesn't have IDE integration now, if I invest in Vault/Fortress will there be a migration path to Veracity? Thanks, Alex |

Yes, we do plan to provide a migration path from Vault to Veracity. However, that path does not yet exist. And developing a generally available migration tool is actually not real high on our priority list. Here's why: Vault and Veracity are very different. In fact, they are so different, that I daresay anyone who really loves one of these products is rather unlikely to love the other one. That will change somewhat as Veracity matures and gets more creature comforts, but the fundamental distinctions between the centralized and decentralized models will remain. We have tens of thousands of Vault users. Those people like Vault and the way it works. We have no desire to try and migrate them to something that they might not like at all. So, we intend to approach these migration issues very carefully. That said, we will be very happy to help individual customers who want to make the change. |
